Poem Time Again
Thursday, August 25th, 2005Choice
Clasping on to these metal bars,
Watching the unsettling scenery pass by,
Right now, I could just let go,
Just end my life in the blink of an eye,
I was always filled with regrets,
Cursed by my own indecision,
But glancing at my hand, something holds me back,
A scar that I cannot forget,
It is a promise that I made in the past,
To keep moving forward and never look back,
This time is not fated to be my demise,
For this scar that I bear is not a lie.
