Angels With Black Wings
By: Yanagi

here are the angels with black wings
feathers stained with crimson blood
is each and every painful sting
a crime in the eyes of GOD?

A past that was cast away
Memories crushed like sifted grain
A sin that will forever stay
echoes a haunting refrain

angels that have one belief
an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth
every stroke equals one’s grief
and another’s wound would be soothed

you take a life to save another
seeking to protect the weak
yet must you make someone suffer
to bring the justice that you seek?

thus you go on and on
your ebony wings stained with blood
cold eyes numb as weathered stone
are you a criminal in the eyes of God?

you’re heaven’s damnation, the devil’s spawn
Angels with black wings you are
in this world you’re all alone
and time would never heal your scars

yet who are we to decide
of what may be wrong or may be right,
I ask you would you take a life
to protect someone who cannot fight?

the paradox of justice turns
with no answers, with no proofs
it is up to us to discern
where lies the elusive truth

Yanagi speaking: Here’s a literary effort of mine to match Cloud^’s Despair poem. This one was written exclusively for one of my favorite bishie group—Weiss. Now, now copyright infringers don’t try any funny business with me coz unlike "other little people" I’m a freakin lawyer. Yeah that’s right I’m the genuine article buster and I don’t need shift F7 to prove it bwahahaha!!! (Normalcy is just another substitute for not having a life so go ahead—be unique, be yourself, getta life!)

Cloud^’s Tips for Anime Journalists: The RD2k2 Method

Monday, June 13th, 2005

For lack of nothing better to post, here are some tips for newbie anime journalists with or without the anime part.

1. Shift+F7 is not a literary technique. Sheesh! You don’t really think that using the MS Word thesaurus just so you can insert a high-sounding word every few sentences will make your work look better do you? The only time you should ever rely on the theseaurus is if you need to reuse a certain word without sounding redundant.

2. Gawd! Please stop being so high-faluten! Higher and more complex words all have appropriate connotations and they can make your work look better only if you know how to use them, but they can also highlight your amateur style if you don’t (especially if your work contains obvious grammatical errors).

3. Punctuation don’t mean nothin. Well… actually it does matter, but there’s no need to be anal-retentive. Good punctuation helps make your work more readable and that’s that. We’re not native-speaking westerners y’know.

4. Never be afraid to use simple words. In fact, using the simplest word possible often makes your work look more appealing and less awkward to the common reader.

5. Be Organized. Spontaneity is good but you must still use some level of organization if you’re going to keep your reader’s attention. So if you’re going to be chaotic about your work, make sure that its totally organized chaos. (like your generic kung-fu movie)

6. Get your own freakin style! Don’t be a copying machine and try to imitate someone else’s style of writing. A writer’s work should be the reflection of his soul so don’t be a soul stealer you vampire! Just write what you feel in the words that you feel most comfortable with (That’s YOUR style in case you didn’t know).

That’s all I can think of for now. Hope this helps you make more memorable pieces… and I’m hoping you’ll submit some of your works so I can feature them in http://animerd2k2.freewebsites.com ne? ne?
Covert verbal abuse is so uniquely satisfying…aaaah!

Hope
By: Cloud^

The endless fire consumes the night,
a blaze of terror in its wake,
accented by the clash of blades,
the lives of all are at stake,

and as the morning mist arrives,
the smell of death fills the air,
but a glimmer of hope still remains,
amidst the darkness and despair,

a lone sapling stands with pride,
against the hatred and sorrow,
defying bitterness and strife,
it looks toward a new tomorrow,

a single dewdrop gently falls,
from its fragile leaves,
a sparkling crystal, a tear of hope
for life to begin anew.

Random Anime Quotes Time… view more at my site http://animerd2k2.freewebsites.com Hehehe sorry If I keep plugging that, it’s almost like an instinct NOT! WHAHAHAHA! I nominate galaxy angel for best drama anime of all time HAHAHAH!

"Though we may walk on different paths, as long as we still look up to the same sky, we can always go back to the melody that we found that day."
-From the ending theme of the anime Strange Dawn.

"Music is a mysterious thing. Sometimes it makes people remember things that they do not expect. Many thoughts, feelings, memories… things almost forgotten. Regardless of whether the listener desires to remember them or not… Long ago, people would listen to this melody just as we are doing now. At times they would have been cheered up… While at times they would have been made to cry."
Citan Uzuki - From the PSX RPG "Xenogears"

"If it’s impossible to love all the people in the world then at least love one person and never betray, doubt, blame, or hate that one person"
From "Shizuku" 2nd Ending Theme of the Anime/Manga "GTO"

Never, never will I forget
These precious emotions that
Onto an unending tomorrow, I will paint;
The words that you gave to me
Become a treasure,
And glitter in my heart
For eternity…
From Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien’s ending theme "Precious Memories"

Despair
By: Cloud^

A city of pretense,
clinging on to falsity
built on false hope and empty promises.
filled with malice and uncertainty.

Everyone is callous,
pretending to live their lives normally,
using selfishness as a mask,
to hide their own insecurities.

Some look to the past,
believing it was different,
but these are merely selfish portrayals
of their own pseudo-enlightened realities.

And I am no different,
living in this small city,
unable to escape,
my tears flow silently.

The End… hope that made you as suicidal as I felt when I wrote that :P
